Regular Honey
A symphony of 100% pure eucalyptus and ground flora honey.
Australian Honey
Australia’s diverse climate produces a wide range of honey enjoyed all over the world.
Our premium quality raw materials are sourced from South Australia, Victoria, and Northern New South Wales.
We offer four regular honey varieties: multifloral, eucalyptus, lucerne, and orange.
Health benefits
Honey is many things to many people. It’s a nutritious, natural sweetener, a concentrated energy source, and a well-known remedy for health and healing.
100% Natural
Winn Honey is unprocessed, raw honey straight from our beehives. No added colour, artificial flavour or synthetic substance.
Low GI
Honey contains more than 180 identified substances, but it consists mainly of natural sugars. While sugar is 100% sucrose, honey is made up of around 75% sugars, of which roughly half is glucose and half is fructose.
The Glycemic Index of Australian honey has been shown to generally be 58, however, this varies with the level of fructose in the honey – the more fructose, the lower the GI.
Cholesterol Free
Cholesterol is a fatty substance found in the blood. If too much cholesterol builds up in the blood, it can clog up the arteries.
Science is emerging that suggests that eating high-quality honey helps to lower bad LDL cholesterol and therefore also lowers total cholesterol, but can also increase levels of good HDL cholesterol.
Rich in Antioxidants
Honey contains polyphenols, which are powerful antioxidants. Antioxidants have been linked to a reduced risk of heart attacks, strokes, and some types of cancer.
They may also promote eye health and can help lower blood pressure.
